Job Overview

Required Qualifications

• Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Maryland
• Interventional Radiology Technologist (2 years of experience)
• Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ARRT (R)
• Fluoroscopy Permit

Schedule and Work Expectations

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Wednesday: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Every other holiday required
• No on-call
• No weekends
• Scrubbing for interventional radiology, vascular, and pain procedures is mandatory

Clinical Scope

• Cases include interventional procedures, pain management procedures, and vascular procedures
• The unit handles CT and X-ray cases, but floating to those areas is not required
• Proficiency with the Philips Azurion C-arm and portable C-arm is required
