Job Opportunity: X-Ray Tech

Location: Camden, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (5x8 hour shifts)
Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
Weekend Requirement: None
On-Call Requirement: No call unless covering for callouts
Floating: Not required to float between units or facilities

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technician license in South Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of Radiology Technician experience, including experience within the last year
• X-Ray Technician experience
• National Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ARRT (R) (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography)
  • SCQRSA (South Carolina Quality Radiologic Safety Act)
• Experience with Epic

Documentation and Compliance

• Valid Driver’s License and Social Security Card required
• Employment application/resume must include all PTO, contract assignments, agency names, and no unaccounted gaps
• Verification of last 3 clinical employers (or all if fewer than 3) required
• Education verification or diploma/transcripts preferred as placeholder if verification pending
• Facility-specific forms including confidentiality and security agreements must be completed prior to start
• Radiation exposure attestation required before start if radiation badge is needed
• Facility-specific physical assessment form required for sterile processing techs (not applicable here)

Additional Notes

• Local candidates accepted on a case-by-case basis
• Block scheduling possible with manager approval
• Hurricane season (June-November) may require emergency response team participation
• Fit testing for respirators will be done onsite during orientation
