Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - CVICU

Job Description

• Position in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts (7pm-7:30am / 7am-7:30pm), rotating day/night shifts
• Shift rotation may be adjusted based on hospital operational needs
• Must work at least every other holiday

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Minimum 18 months of CVICU experience, including CVICU experience within the last year
• At least 18 months of total travel experience
• ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

• Orientation includes facility-specific online training modules that must be completed prior to start
• Competency exams and pass/fail testing on medication administration and ECG interpretation required at orientation
• Candidates must comply with all background checks and health document requirements before starting
• Fingerprinting must be completed both through the agency and at the facility; results must be current and updated annually
• Candidates with gaps in employment longer than 6 months may need to repeat orientation and training modules
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity critical care environment
