Job Opportunity: MRI Tech

Location: York, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work at an imaging center with shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (3 shifts, 12 hours each, 7 AM to 7:30 PM)
• Candidate will undergo clinical screening to determine fit before final approval
• No call requirements
• Weekend work required every weekend
• May care for COVID-19 patients
• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ARMRIT (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists)
• Experience with Epic system
• Valid state license for MRI Technologist

Schedule & Work Conditions

• Friday, Saturday, Sunday shifts only
• No on-call duties
• Holidays as needed
• No floating between units

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Background checks including 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, and fingerprinting (PA FBI fingerprinting required within 1 year of start)
• Education verification (highest level of education)
• Professional references (2 within last 3 years)
• Employment application or most recent resume
• Skills checklist (annual)
• Physical exam within 90 days of start, signed by MD, DO, PA, or NPT
• Immunizations and health documents including:

  • TDAP (within 10 years)
  • Negative TB test (QGold or TSpot within 90 days)
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (vaccines or positive titers)
  • Hepatitis B (positive titer or full vaccine series)
  • Varicella (vaccines or positive titer)
  • Flu vaccine or valid medical/religious exemption (declinations not accepted during flu season)
  • COVID-19 vaccine or valid exemption/declination
• Drug testing: Negative 9-panel within 1 year (for agency only)
• Respiratory safety clearance within 1 year, renewed annually
• Facility-specific documents including photo for badge, code of conduct, confidentiality agreement, and health & wellness commitments

Additional Notes

• Maximum return-to-office (RTO) time: 7 days
• Facility requires a tobacco and fragrance-free environment
• Candidate must complete required online learning modules and new hire orientation by specified deadlines
• Candidate must be prepared for manager interview after clinical screening

This position is ideal for MRI Technologists with solid experience in radiology/cardiology imaging, who are comfortable working weekends and meeting comprehensive compliance and credentialing requirements.
