CT Tech Travel/Contract Position
Location: Annapolis, Maryland
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Seeking a CT Technologist with strong current experience in CT imaging. The role involves working primarily in ICU and Emergency Department settings using Toshiba equipment and PACS.
Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Hours per week: 36
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Maryland
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Registered Technologist (RT) in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
Certifications & Compliance
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required for ICU and ED units (AHA or ARC accepted)
- Background checks including 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, and HHS/OIG required and must be updated annually
- Primary source verification of state license required
- Annual competency exams and color vision testing required
- Physical exam within 12 months prior to start
- N95 fit test within the past 12 months (on-site fit testing not available)
- Immunizations and titers required:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Negative TB test (Qgold or Tspot within 12 months)
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (positive titers within 5 years or appropriate boosters)
- Hepatitis B (positive titer or declination)
- Varicella (two vaccines or positive titer)
- Negative 9-panel drug screen (excluding marijuana) within 30 days of start
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (October–March)
Additional Requirements
- References from two supervisors or higher within the last 2 years required; one reference may be from a charge person if necessary, but supervisor reference must be obtained within 30 days of assignment start
- Complete employment application and skills checklist updated annually

- Equipment: Toshiba CT scanners and PACS
- Work areas: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Emergency Department (ED)
