The people were friendly and the ratios were good. However, they have 4, 8 and 12 hour shifts. So you can be pulled from one unit to cover another person leaving in the middle of the day. This happened frequently and I had to give and take report several times a shift, very frustrating

Management is terrible, the synergy between the rn case managers and the MSW/LCSW is complicated not because of the people but because of the way that management doesn't support the jobs having everything that they need. The culture is toxic and it's a lot of people climbing on top of each other like crabs in a barrel. The ground level staff are amazing, but the conditions that they are under are horrible. Social workers aren't actually allowed to do all that the license entails. You do not need a license to practice at this facility. They require you to have the credentialing and then or punitive when you are able to accomplish. What's more the promise you a specific pay package a certain amount of hours and a schedule that once you get there they'll switch you to mostly weekends and days that no one else wants to work. Makes sense for a travel contract, but they sign on even with whatever agency sharing that it's one experience and completely flip it on the traveler once you get there. They are aware that travelers are supposedly making more money and they really do try to push that in your face as to why you should comply with all of their wishes whenever they bring them to you. Toxic culture.
