Infusion Nurse

Overview

Travel/contract role
Outpatient infusion clinic
Utica, New York
Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Hours may fluctuate to meet patient needs
Overtime as needed and as approved
13-week contract

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of infusion experience
Infusion experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC)

Government-issued photo ID
Emergency contact form before start
Background check
Education verification
Harassment prevention training certificate
Color blind testing before start
Competency exam as applicable to profession
Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable to profession
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Fit mask within 1 year of start and updated annually
Negative TB test or chest X-ray
Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, flu, and pneumonia documentation as required
Drug screen
2 professional references within 3 years of start
Annual skills checklist
Facility-specific modules before first shift
Signed facility job description
Signed welcome packet
Signed Omnicell form for nursing staff
Non-employee access paperwork
Pneumococcal declination form if declining vaccination

Notes

Local candidates are allowed within a 75-mile radius, but local rate applies
Call-off hours: 37.5 unpaid hours for the duration of the contract
