Job Overview

Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 12 weeks
Shift: Night, 4x12 hours
Weekly hours: 48
Patient ratio: 1:6
Start date: 3–4 weeks out, depending on compliance tier
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
Floating: May float within scope to meet facility needs

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Experience

Medical-surgical/telemetry experience

Work Environment

Acute medicine unit
Does not care for surgical patients
Population includes patients with diabetes, renal issues, COPD, abdominal rule-outs, and cancer patients not receiving current chemotherapy

Additional Notes

Local candidates are not accepted
Home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
No on-call requirement
No block scheduling
No more than 7 days of requested time off per 13-week contract
