Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Approximately 14 weeks

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, Day shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
40 hours per week

Job Description

Level 1 experience desired
Minimum 3 years recent experience in Operating Room (OR) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
Must be able to work across multiple specialty areas including:
- Total Joints
- Orthopedic Spine
- Gynecology (Gyn)
- Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS)
Local travelers within 100 miles are not accepted
Call policy:
- Weekday call from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- Weekend call from 7:00 AM Saturday through 7:00 AM Monday
- 40-minute response time required
- Rotating call schedule with 2-3 weekday calls in the first 6 weeks, then weekend calls in the next 6 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky
Minimum 3 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including OR experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
