Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
CPI
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License

Preferred

COVID-19 vaccine

Onboarding Notes

Education verification is required for RNs
Skills checklist must match the unit the traveler will work on
Core competency exam is required and must score 80% or higher
NIHSS includes 8 hours of stroke training
Fit test may be completed on-site if needed
If the influenza declination form is used, the traveler must wear a mask at all times while on assignment
