Registered Nurse Float Position (Night Shift)

Location: Ithaca, New York
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (Night Shift)

Job Overview

Float position requiring competence in at least 2 of the following 3 areas:
1. ICU (minimum 2 years ICU experience)
2. Med/Surg/Telemetry (minimum 1 year experience)
3. Emergency Department (minimum 2 years ED experience) with triage experience required; charge nurse experience preferred
Bedside patient care role
Epic electronic health record experience required
Work schedule includes every other weekend and every other holiday

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 1 year Med/Surg/Telemetry experience within the last year
ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience
Emergency Department (ED) experience
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Experience with Epic electronic health record system
