Contract

• 13 weeks
• On-call coverage is required, including weeknight and weekend call
• Shift options include 6a-6p, 7a-7p, 8a-8p, and 9a-9p

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
• PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
• PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
• PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
• Day Surgery experience
• Outpatient Surgery experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Driver's License
• Nursys verification completed within 30 days prior to start

Onboarding / Compliance Requirements

• Resume
• 2 professional references
• Valid, current U.S. driver’s license or U.S. ID
• Background check
• Drug screen
• TB testing
• MMR immunity or vaccination documentation
• Varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
• Hepatitis B immunity, vaccination series, or declination
• Tdap within the last 10 years or declination
• Physical/health statement within the past 12 months
• Fit test completed prior to start
• Color headshot
• Signed job description

• Pharmacology exam

Schedule Notes

• Call expectation is roughly 3–4 weeknight calls and one 24-hour weekend call in an 8-week period
• Call volume may increase or decrease depending on staffing
