MICU RN

Overview

20-bed Medical/Surgical ICU
Floating required, mostly to Medical/Surgical units
Nights and every other weekend
36 hours per week
13-week contract
Free on-site parking

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts
MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in a Critical Care setting
Ability to read telemetry strips

Preferred Qualifications

Preferably a MICU for continuous work experience

Unit / Setting

Level III Trauma Center
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with Med Surg floating required
Adult patient population
RN-to-patient ratio: 1:2 or 1:1 with high acuity; 1:4 or 1:5 when floated to other Med/Surg areas
