Description
MICU RN
Overview
- 20-bed Medical/Surgical ICU
- Floating required, mostly to Medical/Surgical units
- Nights and every other weekend
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Free on-site parking
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in a Critical Care setting
- Ability to read telemetry strips
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferably a MICU for continuous work experience
Unit / Setting
- Level III Trauma Center
- Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with Med Surg floating required
- Adult patient population
- RN-to-patient ratio: 1:2 or 1:1 with high acuity; 1:4 or 1:5 when floated to other Med/Surg areas

- 19:00 - 07:30
