Job Details

• Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Night Shift)
• Schedule: 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week
• On-Call: None
• Weekend Requirement: Work every 3rd weekend at minimum

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Iowa
• Minimum of 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

• Current and valid license/certification verifications dated within 30 days of start
• Specialty-specific competency testing completed within the past year
• Fit test for respirator use
• COVID-19 vaccination proof (including booster by September 2025), or approved declination/exemption (declination not accepted in CA or IL)
• Proof of MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B vaccination series, and 2-step TB test or IGRA
• Physical/health statement confirming fitness to work within the last year
• 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC)
• Influenza vaccine is optional but recommended
• TDAP vaccine or declination (declination accepted if no pediatric interaction)
• Completion of background checks including federal, nationwide, county criminal history (last 7 years), SSN verification, and state-specific registries (Iowa-specific dependent adult and child abuse registry check required)
• Verification of education and professional credentials
• Completion of required professional forms including code of conduct, confidentiality agreement, conflict of interest disclosure, integrity and audit services form, and system access form
• Completion of Joint Commission CORE exam within the past year
• Completion of child and adult dependent abuse training (Iowa only)
• Trinity skills checklist provided by agency for clinical competency verification

Additional Notes

• All required documents and verifications must be uploaded to the credentialing system prior to or at onboarding
• Drug screen must be completed and resulted before start date with Medical Review Officer (MRO) signature
• License and certification verifications must include machine-generated date indicating verification within 30 days of start
• Background and exclusion screenings must include all known aliases and be dated within 30 days of start
