Overview

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Georgia
• Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
• Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Required Certifications

• NRP

Schedule / Assignment Expectations

• Must work any major holiday that falls during the assignment, based on the number of holidays in the assignment period
• Maximum RTO: 7 days
• Full compliance is required to start on time

Clinical / Role Details

• Provides respiratory care services involving cardiopulmonary evaluation, treatment, and assessment of treatment effectiveness
• Attends high-risk c-sections, high-risk deliveries, and resuscitations
• Responsible for airway management and ventilatory support
• Care areas include the Emergency Department, ICU/CCU, PACU, and level III nursery
• Work is performed under the supervision of a licensed physician

• Code of conduct acknowledgement
• Dress and professional appearance policy review
