Job Overview

Travel/contract role in San Diego, California
13-week assignment
Night shift, 3x12 schedule
Start date: November 11 only

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
Cardiac experience
Experience with oscillator ventilation
Experience with conventional ventilator management
Experience with CPAP
Experience with specialty gases administration
Experience with PICC line placement and management
Experience with Broviac line management
Experience with UAC/UVC line management
Experience with PAL line management
Experience with tracheostomy care

Schedule and Assignment Details

Variable days/nights or straight nights
36 hours per week
No on-call
No block scheduling
Locals not accepted
Up to 6 days of requested time off allowed

Clinical Experience

Experience with oscillator, conventional ventilator, CPAP, nasal cannula specialty gases, PICC lines, Broviacs, UAC/UVC/PAL lines, trachs, ostomies, G-tubes, multiple drips, and pre/post-op care
