Job Overview

Travel/contract role in Bridgeport, Connecticut
13-week assignment
Evening shift: 5x8 hours, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
Weekend rotation required
Call required
Short-term acute care hospital
426 staffed beds
Level II trauma center
Free parking

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Connecticut
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
5 years of Operating Room experience
Operating Room experience within the last year
Experience working with Level 2 Trauma patients
Experience in Charge roles
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS

Schedule

40 hours per week

Required Assessments

Medication/pharmacology competency exam
Color blind testing
Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam

Required Documentation and Compliance

Driver’s license or state ID matching legal name
7-year criminal background check
