Job Details
- Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
- On-call: No call required
- Holiday Coverage: Possible holiday shifts required
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years

- Must be able to circulate in all services including CT, Vascular, Surgical Oncology, Plastics, Colorectal, Robotics, Bariatric
- Scrubbing vascular/general cases highly preferred
- First-time travelers not preferred
- Licensure: South Carolina RN license or multi-state RN license required at start of contract
- Certifications Required:
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- Radiation badge (provided by agency)

Required Documentation & Compliance
Licensure & Background
- Active, unencumbered SC RN license with primary source verification
- NURSYS verification required
- Background check within 1 year including: SSN trace, statewide, national criminal, sex offender registry, FACIS 3, and international searches if applicable
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
- Education verification required; diploma or transcripts accepted as placeholder if needed
- Work history verification of last 3 clinical employers
Certifications
- BLS (AHA or ARC) required for all clinical staff
- ACLS (AHA) required for adult critical care units, cath lab, ER, ICU, interventional radiology, PACU, PCU, pre-op, observation units
- PALS required for pediatric units except Pediatric OR
- TNCC required except for ER RNs
- Radiation badge required for CVOR RN and related roles
- Other certifications as applicable (e.g., NIH Stroke, CHEMO for oncology units)
Competency Exams
- Medication/Pharmacology competency exam required
- Color blindness testing required prior to start
- Competency exam required; pediatric OR competency preferred for Peds OR but regular OR competency accepted
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Physical exam updated annually, attesting ability to meet job demands
- Fit test for N95 mask within 90 days prior to start, renewed annually
- Tdap vaccine within 10 years or declination form
- Negative TB test (T-spot or Q-Gold) within 90 days or proof of prior positive with chest x-ray
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella: positive titer or vaccination series required; boosters may be needed for low titers
- Hepatitis B: titer, vaccine series, or declination required
- Drug screen: 10-panel within 90 days of start
- Flu vaccine required during flu season (Aug 1 - Apr 30) or medical/religious exemption (no declinations accepted)
- COVID-19 vaccine highly preferred; declination form required if not vaccinated
Facility Specific Requirements
- Completion of orientation modules prior to start (approx. 2 hours)
- Upload COVID and flu vaccine documentation into facility system
- Clear, passport-style photo for badge required before start
- Radiation badge must be obtained before starting patient care; may take 5-7 days to arrive
- Sterile Processing Techs have additional physical and lab requirements (not applicable for RN role)
