Job Details

• Shift: Monday to Friday, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (08:30 AM - 05:00 PM)
• On Call/Weekend Requirements: None
• Float Requirement: None

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) license in District of Columbia
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
• Experience as an RDN within the last year
• Experience working with adult patients
• Experience in outpatient and clinic settings

Additional Requirements

• Two positive supervisory references supporting at least 2 years of experience within the last 3 years
• Complete 7 years of work history with no gaps, including education, employment, license, and contact information
• Background checks including criminal history, education verification, and federal/state screenings
• Drug screening within 90 days of start (excluding marijuana)
• Annual physical exam confirming ability to work without accommodations and free from communicable disease
• Immunization and health documentation including:

  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray (updated annually)
  • Documentation of MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccines or positive titers
  • Hepatitis B titer, series, or signed declination
  • Varicella vaccine or positive titer
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption

Certifications & Competencies

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC) required
• Other certifications as required by unit or role (e.g., ACLS, PALS) may apply depending on assignment

• This is a local rate position within 60 miles of the facility location
• No prior travel experience explicitly required for this position
• Candidates must complete facility-specific modules and attestations prior to start
• Valid driver's license required only if driving is an essential job function
