Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Registered Nurse

Location: Dallas, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• Day shift, 4 days per week
• 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Monday through Friday
• On-call duties required

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
• Minimum of 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, including experience within the last year
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Background and Compliance Checks

• 7-year background check including county criminal search for all locations lived/worked in last 7 years
• Sex offender search
• State police investigation for behavioral health (if applicable)
• Education verification as applicable
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start

Additional Requirements

• Photo for badge (passport style, head and shoulders, clear background preferred)
• Completion of facility-specific forms prior to start (e.g., job description acknowledgment, internet access form)
• Medication and EKG study guides provided for exam preparation
• For ER RNs only: 2 hours of Texas Forensic Evidence Collection training (not applicable for Cath Lab)

Notes

• Candidates must complete competency exams within 30 days of start
• Candidates are allowed two attempts to pass required exams; a third attempt may be allowed with client approval
• Fit mask test completed onsite during orientation and updated annually
