Unit Description

• 16-bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 6:1

Shift Details

• Night shift
• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (18:45 to 7:15)
• Total 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
• Minimum of 1 year of rehabilitation nursing experience, with rehabilitation experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Notes

• Medication and pharmacology competency exams require a minimum score of 80%
• Some certifications (e.g., PALS, NRP, TNCC, NIH Stroke Certification, CPI) may be required depending on unit specifics
• Facility-specific health forms and vaccination declination acknowledgments must be completed as applicable
