Overview

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Med Surg (3 years of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN
Role Summary
- Staff RN responsible for a group of patients during a designated time frame
- Provides care using the nursing process and unit-specific procedures
- Completes initial patient assessment, develops a plan of care, implements interventions, and modifies the plan based on ongoing evaluation
- Maintains accurate documentation and communicates with the healthcare team
- Supports patient and employee safety, peer feedback, and professional development
