Contract

  • 13 weeks
  • Night shift
  • 40 hours per week
  • 10-hour shifts
  • Rotating shifts

Required Qualifications

  • Polysomnographer experience within the last year
  • 1 year of experience as a Polysomnographer
  • BLS issued by the American Heart Association
  • Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) through the American Board of Sleep Medicine
  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists
  • Associate's degree in polysomnographic technology or completion of a certificate program in polysomnographic technology

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat sleep disorders, including in-center and home sleep apnea testing
  • Perform patient preparation, PAP interface fitting, desensitization, and education
  • Score sleep/wake stages and clinical events using accepted guidelines
  • Perform equipment calibration, cleaning, disinfection, and quality control
  • Support Multiple Sleep Latency Testing and Maintenance of Wakefulness Testing
  • Provide age-specific care for all populations seen in the sleep lab
  • Perform ancillary testing such as oximetry, actigraphy, and home sleep apnea testing
