Overview
- Travel RN float pool ICU/IMC position
- Location: Portland, Maine
- Shift: 7:00 am to 7:30 pm or 7:00 pm to 7:30 am
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 48
- Weekend requirement: 75% weekends required
- Call: No
- Contract length: 14 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maine
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Critical Care Float (3 years of experience)
- Critical Care Float experience within the last year
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
- MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit experience
- SICU - Surgical Intensive Care experience
- CTICU - Cardiothoracic Intensive Care experience
- Neuro ICU experience
Unit / Assignment Details
- Float Pool
- Specialty: MICU
- Number of beds varies by unit
- Patient ratios: 1:2, and 1:3 in IMC
- Typical patients include sedated, intubated, and pressor patients
- Does not care for high-complexity patients such as CRRT
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years of ICU experience
