Work Schedule

Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
Self-scheduling
36 guaranteed hours per week
Weekend hours as needed
Call requirements apply

Unit and Patient Population

Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) unit
24 beds with patient census ranging from 3 to 24
Patient ratio typically 1:6
Patient population includes neonates and adults

Required Certifications

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and AWHONN Intermediate preferred

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maine
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum (LDRP) experience, including experience within the last year
Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment
Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Labor and Delivery nursing experience

Preferred Skills

Experience in Level 1 Nursery
Circulating for C-sections

Equipment and Systems

Electronic Fetal Monitor (EFM)
IV equipment
Electronic Health Records: EPIC, Powerchart
Medication system: Omnicell

Additional Information

No float requirements
No first-time travelers accepted
Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
