Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Position

Location: Paramount, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

• Specialty: Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) / Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) / Acute care
• Role: Physical Therapist (PT)
• Shift: Day
• Hours: Approximately 32 hours per week, PRN (as needed) with weekend hours as needed
• Float Requirement: Must be able to float to LTACH within the same building
• Number of Openings: 1

Facility & Unit Information

• Unit: Acute Rehabilitation Unit with 18 beds
• Patient Ratio: 4 patients per therapist
• Patient Population: Adults
• Equipment Used: LiteGait, Hoyer lift, Sara Stedy
• Electronic Health Records (EHR): Protouch, Net Health, ProDocs

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in California
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Bachelor’s degree or Doctor of Physical Therapy degree

Work Environment & Culture

• Dress Code: Scrubs of any color or casual business attire permitted; blue jeans and similar attire are not acceptable
