Registered Nurse - Dialysis (Travel Contract)
Location: Austin, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
Schedule Details:
- Weekend rotation
- Call required approximately 1 PM shift per week and 1 Sunday every 6 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Overview
- Dialysis unit with multiroom and bedside setups (6-bed multiroom at some locations, 1:1 bedside at others)
- Patient Ratios: 2:1 in multiroom, 1:1 bedside
- Equipment used: Tablo, Prismax, Amia
- Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech
- Permanent positions available on the unit
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- Minimum 1 year of dialysis experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Preferred Qualifications
- Candidates with additional dialysis-related skills will be prioritized
Work Environment & Culture
- Flexible personality fit preferred
- Dress code: Navy scrubs required
- Rotating night shift staffing with 3 nurses per night shift
- Call responsibilities as noted above
