CVOR Tech Travel Opportunity

Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Position: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Technician
Employment Type: Travel
Department: CVOR
Shift: Varies
Weekly Hours: 36 hours
Call: Every other week, including weekends
Float: May be required to work in the main OR if no CVOR cases are scheduled

Required Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technician (CST) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum 2 years of experience as a CVOR Tech
Experience with open heart procedures including coronary artery bypass grafts, aortic/mitral valve surgeries, and lung procedures

Work Environment & Unit Information

Facility is Joint Commission Accredited
Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI
Certified Primary Stroke Center
199-bed hospital
Located in a region with year-round sunshine and abundant outdoor recreational opportunities
