Job Overview

Travel assignment in Austin, Texas
13-week contract
Shift: 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
On-call required
36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Electrophysiology Lab (2 years of experience)
Electrophysiology Lab experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Unit Highlights

Electrophysiology lab
Very busy lab with a 1:1 patient ratio
Standard implant procedures
All EP ablation cases except VT
Watchman procedures
Scrubs provided by the hospital

Work Environment

Small team with 3 to 4 staff per procedure, plus anesthesia
Day shift includes a mix of techs, RNs, and a supervisor
No night shift
No weekends
High-volume setting
Preferred traits: sense of urgency
