- Operating Room in a 343-bed hospital
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- Surgical equipment used; documentation via Meditech system
- Set schedules with options for 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts (based on availability)
- No floating except rarely for COVID-related needs
- Hospital laundered scrubs provided

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kansas
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification

some charges are extremely friendly, core staff is very traveler friendly, corporate brought in to enact proper HCA policies, hall beds have monitors, fully stocked supplies in stock room, multiple portable ekg's, offers transport for patients back to home, 3 full trauma rooms, CT & Lab dept are in ED, lab supplies stocked in pt rooms, nicu aids with newborns and infants in ED
Cons
no schedule flexibility, management denies guaranteed hours, core staff treated poorly by managers, unsafe patient assignments, BHU is not locked, travelers unable to access policies, no hospital orientation, vitals and ekgs are not completed during check in delaying safe patient care, only initial pt chief complaint is taking during check in, triage is not completed until roomed, some providers expect work out of RN scope of practice, only a very few cna's or paramedics, management seems to hold grudges, requires call out 24hrs in advance
