Shift: Weekend – Rotating
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Required Experience & Certifications

Minimum 2 years MICU/MSICU experience (higher value between 1 and 2 years applied)
Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
NIH Certification required
CCRN certification preferred

Unit & Job Details

Unit: MICU (Medical Intensive Care Unit)
Assignments based on acuity and skills
Equipment used: ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, GE Cardiac Output monitor
Documentation system: Meditech (experience preferred)
Floating: As needed

Procedures Performed

Central line placements
Bedside procedures such as thoracentesis
Dialysis catheter placements
Cardioversions
Intubations
Other ICU procedures

Dress Code & Appearance Guidelines

Scrub color: Royal Blue
Nails: Clean and healthy; no artificial nails, gel, or next-gen enhancements
Hair: Neat and clean; no extreme styles or colors; must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer when working in the lab
Facial hair: Beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be clean and neatly trimmed
Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible; exceptions addressed individually
Piercings: Only ear piercings allowed; no visible nose, tongue, or other piercings

Additional Notes

Attendance policies follow company-wide standards
Candidates without the required skills and certifications will not be considered
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this role
