CT Technologist Position - Arizona

Job Details

• Location: Kingman, Arizona
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Evenings (possible days, evenings, weekends, nights, and call)
• Hours: 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
• Work Environment:

  • 235-bed hospital with 3 CT rooms
  • High-volume, busy CT department
  • Possible to work alone during night shifts
  • Dress code: Ceil blue scrubs

Job Responsibilities

• Perform all types of CT scans including head, abdomen, CT angiographies (CTAs), extremities, run-offs, and trauma patients
• Ability to start IVs
• Use equipment such as Meditech system and GE EVO 64 slice, GE VCT 64 slice, and GE 32 slice CT scanners
• Participate in orientation and training with other technologists to become proficient with equipment, protocols, and hospital layout

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Arizona
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT (CT) certification
• BLS certification

Additional Information

• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not accepted
• Client may cancel or call off up to one shift every two weeks
• 12 hours of non-billable orientation; guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation
• No floating to other units or departments
