Contract Length

13 weeks

Schedule

• Nights
• 8-hour shifts
• 40 hours per week
• 5 days per week
• Weekends required
• Holidays expected
• Flexibility to cover other shifts may be needed

Required Qualifications

• Medical Lab Technician experience within the last year
• Medical Lab Technician with 1 year of experience
• BLS
• ARRT (N)
• Medical Technologist experience

Preferred Qualifications

• ASCP preferred
• Experience with Galileo echo blood bank analyzer

Work Setting / Department Focus

• Generalist role
• Primary need is blood bank and hematology
• Not cross-trained to all areas
• No phlebotomy required

Orientation / Training

• General facility orientation: 1 day
• Department-specific training: about 1 week or more, depending on skill and background

Additional Notes

• Must be flexible with scheduling and time-off requests
• May be asked to help cover call-outs or scheduling gaps
• Lab assistant support available
• Lab coat, business casual clothing, or scrubs are acceptable
• No jeans
• No open-toed shoes or shoes with holes
• Must have a pleasant attitude, be open to feedback, and be a quick learner
