NICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Indiana
Job Details
- Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights (12-hour shifts)
- Hours per Week: 36 hours
- Bed Size: 31 beds
- Patient Ratio: 1:1 or 1:2
- Dress Code: Caribbean blue scrubs
- Orientation:
- Week 1: Monday to Friday, 8-hour days
- Week 2: Monday and Tuesday, 8-hour days
- Mandatory attendance for all 7 days of orientation
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Level III NICU experience
- Current Indiana RN license
- BLS (AHA only) certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
Job Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a Level III NICU setting
- May float to age-appropriate Pediatric or PICU units
Equipment and Systems
- EPIC computer charting system
- Pyxis medication administration system
Additional Information
- Call-off or cancellation allowed up to 24 hours before shift for the 13-week assignment
- Non-billable orientation hours: 8 hours (guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation)
- Clinicians returning within 12 months of their last worked date are not eligible for non-billable orientation hours
