NICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Indiana

Job Details

Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (12-hour shifts)
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Bed Size: 31 beds
Patient Ratio: 1:1 or 1:2
Dress Code: Caribbean blue scrubs
Orientation:
- Week 1: Monday to Friday, 8-hour days
- Week 2: Monday and Tuesday, 8-hour days
- Mandatory attendance for all 7 days of orientation

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Level III NICU experience
Current Indiana RN license
BLS (AHA only) certification
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification

Job Responsibilities

Provide patient care in a Level III NICU setting
May float to age-appropriate Pediatric or PICU units

Equipment and Systems

EPIC computer charting system
Pyxis medication administration system

Additional Information

Call-off or cancellation allowed up to 24 hours before shift for the 13-week assignment
Non-billable orientation hours: 8 hours (guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation)
Clinicians returning within 12 months of their last worked date are not eligible for non-billable orientation hours
