MRI Technologist - Kingman, Arizona

Contract Details

• Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Evenings (weeknight evenings and weekend day shifts)
• Hours: 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
• Orientation: 12 hours of non-billable orientation; guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation
• Call: Shared call rotation among 5 technologists; employee will work alone during shifts
• Local Radius: Candidates must be outside a 50-mile radius; local candidates not accepted
• Cancellation Policy: Client may cancel up to one shift every two weeks

Job Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures including:

  • Abdominal MRA/MRV
  • Head, neck, and spine imaging
  • Upper and lower extremities
  • Chest and breast imaging
  • MRCP (Magnetic Resonance Cholangiopancreatography)
  • Gradient Echo Imaging
• Operate 1.5T and 3T GE LX MRI scanners with level 23 software
• Use Meditech and UV PACS systems for imaging and charting
• Follow MRI protocol book and complete proficiency checklist before independent scanning

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of MRI technologist experience
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Work Environment

• Department size: 280 beds in the facility
• No floating to other units; exclusively MRI department
• Dress code: Ceil blue scrubs

• Training provided by lead MRI technologist until proficiency is demonstrated with equipment and software
