5+ years of experience
At least 1 travel assignment
Meditech experience
Driver’s license address must be listed in the emailed submit
75-mile radius rule applies

Emergency Center
6-bed behavioral lock down area staffed by psych
Approx. 180–200 visits per day
Ratios: 1:4
Peds to geriatrics
Trauma patients are seen
Some neuro trauma is shipped out
Some ortho is kept and some is shipped out
No burns are kept
CVA center

Staffing / Operations

Charge nurse: yes
Nurse aides/paramedics: yes, 5–6 per shift
Security/patient sitters: yes
Tele/monitor techs: central monitoring tech
Vents are held in the ER until admitted
RT is available 24/7 and dedicated to the ER
Pharmacy is in the department 11 hours per day and on campus 24/7
Lab draws are done by nurses
IVs are started by nurses
Floor-specific orientation: 2 shifts
ORT must be completed during week one
Every other weekend required
Every other holiday required
Caribbean Blue scrubs only
