Critical Care Float Pool

Kealakekua, Hawaii

Schedule

  • 12-hour shifts
  • Evenings and nights
  • 72–80 hours per 2 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Hawaii
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Critical Care Float (2 years of experience)
  • Critical Care Float experience within the last year
  • ER (Emergency Room) experience
  • ED - Emergency Department experience
  • ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
  • BLS
  • ACLS

Role Details

  • Primary care of ER and ICU patients
  • May float to other nursing units as needed, not as a primary nurse
  • Duties may include expediting on other floors, sitting with patients, helping with transport, telemetry monitoring, and serving on the rapid response and code blue team
