Overview

Responsible for performing high-quality MRI studies, ensuring patient safety, communicating with patients and radiologists, and troubleshooting scanner and related equipment. May also train new technologists and patient coordinators.

Required Qualifications

MRI Technologist (1 year of experience)
MRI Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT (MR) or BLS issued by American Heart Association or ACLS issued by American Heart Association
ARMRIT
High School Diploma or GED

Experience and Skills

At least 1 year of MR experience in high-volume environments preferred
Ability to run advanced MR studies independently
Ability to work in a self-directed environment
Experience managing customer interactions independently and resolving problems to mutual satisfaction
Ability to explain complex medical terms and procedures clearly to non-medical audiences

Additional Notes

Local travel may be required
GE Signa 1.5 Gold Seal MRI experience is preferred
