MRI Technologist
Location: Orlando, Florida
Employment Type: Contract Clinician
Shift: Days
Hours per week: 40
Contract length: 13 weeks
Overview
Responsible for performing high-quality MRI studies, ensuring patient safety, communicating with patients and radiologists, and troubleshooting scanner and related equipment. May also train new technologists and patient coordinators.
Required Qualifications
- MRI Technologist (1 year of experience)
- MRI Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (MR) or BLS issued by American Heart Association or ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- ARMRIT
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience and Skills
- At least 1 year of MR experience in high-volume environments preferred
- Ability to run advanced MR studies independently
- Ability to work in a self-directed environment
- Experience managing customer interactions independently and resolving problems to mutual satisfaction
- Ability to explain complex medical terms and procedures clearly to non-medical audiences
Additional Notes
- Local travel may be required
- GE Signa 1.5 Gold Seal MRI experience is preferred
