Job Overview

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day shift, 4x10 hours
Hours: 40 per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Schedule & Work Expectations

Weekday shifts
CV call and holiday coverage required
Call requirement: 90–120 hours of call in a 6-week schedule
Scrub not required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana
CVOR (1.5 years of experience)
CVOR experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
Circulating experience
Heart/lung transplant experience
Valve replacement experience
Aortic dissection experience
Experience receiving pump lines from perfusion and preparing them for cannulation

Unit Details

Average daily census: 70–80
Rooms: 24
OR nurses may be floated where needed except in CV and Transplant areas
Special equipment includes DaVinci XI
