Job Overview

Role Summary
- Inpatient Occupational Therapist role that primarily works in the inpatient rehab unit and also floats between inpatient rehab and outpatient.
- Performs clinical evaluations, creates individualized treatment plans, and provides treatment for patients with a variety of disabilities, injuries, and diseases.
- Typical workload is 8–10 patients per 8-hour day.
- Works as the solo OT on weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in Florida
- Experience/competency in acute care, ortho/trauma, and stroke
- Minimum 3 years of experience preferred
Required Certifications
- BLS via AHA
- HCP-CPR
Compliance / Screening Requirements
- Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening, including fingerprint-based state and federal criminal history checks, abuse registry review, and screening for disqualifying offenses
- Government-issued photo ID
- E-Verify
- Proof of name change, if applicable
- Background check within 6 months of start, covering all locations lived/worked/in school in the past 7 years
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check
- HHS/OIG check
- Education verification
- Physical exam
- Annual fit test
- Negative TB or chest X-ray

- MMR immunity documentation
- Hepatitis B documentation
- Varicella immunity documentation
