Overview

• Travel/contract role in Melrose, Minnesota
• 13-week assignment
• Day or night 3x12 schedule, 7:00–19:30 or 19:00–7:30
• Every 3rd weekend required
• On-call not required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Floating within scope may be required
• Local candidates are not accepted; must live more than 25 miles from the facility

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Minnesota
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg experience

Preferred

• OB experience

Key Responsibilities / Clinical Focus

• General emergency department care for adult and pediatric patients
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

• Criminal background check
• GSA/SAM excluded provider check
• OIG excluded provider check
• Third-party education verification
• Minnesota DHS NetStudy fingerprint clearance
• Photo for badge
• Confidentiality agreement
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit test for N95 mask
• Tdap vaccination
• TB screening or chest X-ray
• Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation
• Hepatitis B vaccination, positive titer, or declination
• Flu vaccination documentation or declination during flu season
• Drug screening
• Two recent employer references
• Skills checklist
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
• Competency exam as applicable by profession
