Cath Lab Tech

Overview

Location: Portland, Oregon
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Start date: ASAP
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: 4x10 day shifts, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM, variable day off
Weekend requirement: Yes, only when taking call
On-call requirement: Yes
Floating: Within the hospital and to sister locations
Locals accepted: Yes
First-time travelers accepted: Yes
RTO limit: 1 week maximum

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Oregon
Cath Lab Technologist (1 year of experience)
Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
ARRT

Key Responsibilities

Operate fluoroscopy in the Cardiac Cath Lab
Monitor procedures and assist with scrubbing procedures
Support supply and equipment management/stocking
May be cross-trained to EP procedures
May assist with TAVR and TMVR procedures in the hybrid OR

Additional Notes

Scrubs are provided for OR use
Parking is available for $16 per day
