Overview

• Travel/contract RN role in Phoenix, Arizona
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Ratios: 1–2 couplets
• Local candidates accepted
• First-time travelers may be considered if they have at least 5 years of experience
• May occasionally float to PostPartum if within scope
• On-call: No
• Block scheduling: No

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Arizona
• Labor and Delivery (3 years of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Assist with sterile speculum exam (effacement, dilation, station, presentation)
• NST (Non Stress Tests)
• Sterile vaginal exam
• Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring)
• Use of External & Internal Fetal Monitoring
• Use of IUPC (Intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration
• Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
• Administration of blood & blood products
• Start & maintain peripheral IV
• Amnioinfusion
• Current and valid driver’s license, government photo ID, or passport
• Current RN license in unencumbered status
• Background check within 1 year of start, including SS Trace, 7-year county, national criminal, and FACIS III
• EPLS/GSA/SAM clearance within 30 days of start
• HHS/OIG clearance within 30 days of start
• Sex offender search within 30 days of start
• Physical exam within 72 hours of signing contract and within 1 year of start
• Fit test within 1 year of start, updated annually
• Tdap within 10 years of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• Measles immunity or vaccination documentation
• Mumps immunity or vaccination documentation
• Rubella immunity or vaccination documentation
• Hepatitis B documentation
• Varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
• Negative drug screen within 30 days of start
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
