Overview
- Travel/Contract role in La Jolla, California
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Telemetry experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
- Experience with Cerner
- Must start on 11/02
- Must be able to work 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week cycle and at least one holiday, including the holiday weekend
- May be required to float down and across the organization to like units or lower acuity units, excluding the ED
- Primary source verification is required within 30 days of start
- Proof of W4 on file
- 7-year criminal background check, including SSN trace, county searches, statewide searches, federal searches, national criminal, and national sex offender searches
- HHS/OIG check
- Physical exam within 12 months of start
- N95 fit test within 1 year of start
- Tdap vaccine
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months of start
- Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
- Hepatitis B vaccination series, titer, or signed declination
- Drug screen within 1 year of start
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
- Two satisfactory references

Additional Notes
- EPIC or Cerner experience of 6 months or more is expected; less than 6 months for RNs may result in auto-cancel
- Scrubs are provided for OR and L&D, and there is no scrub color requirement
- Flu vaccination or declination is required year-round unless fully remote
- All travelers must complete the vaccine attestation form
- The assignment may require completion of facility learning modules before start
