Registered Nurse Job Summary

Overview

Travel/contract role in Madison, Wisconsin
13-week assignment
Adult med/surg and telemetry unit with geriatric patients
May care for Department of Corrections patients
Every other weekend rotation and holidays as needed

Schedule

12-hour shifts
Day or night shift:
- 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
- 7:00 PM–7:30 AM

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
Experience in an Acute Care setting
Experience starting intravenous lines (IVs)
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Experience with Epic

Unit Notes

Locked wing for Department of Corrections patients
Staff are accompanied by a DOC officer when assisting those patients
