Job Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in Richmond, Virginia
- Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM
- 40 hours per week
- Rotating day off between Monday and Wednesday
- Locals are allowed at the same rate
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Virginia RN license
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 1 year of clinic experience within the last year
- Hematology / Oncology experience
- Epic experience
- ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association
- PALS issued by the American Heart Association
Required Certifications
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- NRP
- TNCC
- NIH Stroke Certification
Required Experience / Skills
- EPIC experience required
- Color blind testing required
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam required as applicable for RNs
- Abuse reporting competency required
- Skills checklist required and must be updated annually
Pre-Start Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID
- E-Verify / I-9 attestation
- Criminal background check
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check
- HHS/OIG check
- Physical exam within 1 year
- Tdap vaccine or declination
- TB screening
- Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella titers
- Hepatitis B titer, vaccine series, or declination
- Drug screening within 60 days of start
- Flu vaccine or exemption, depending on start date
- HIPAA acknowledgement
- Fingerprinting and CPS-related requirements may apply depending on unit/facility placement
