Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Indianapolis, Indiana
- Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00-17:30
- Option for 5x8 hours, 7:00-15:30
- 12-week contract
- First-time travelers are not accepted
- IN license and certs must be in hand to submit
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Pediatrics OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- 2 years of Pediatrics OR - Operating Room experience
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- General OR experience
- General surgery cases
- Urology surgery cases
- Endo/Laparoscopic surgery cases
- Plastics surgery cases
- ENT surgery cases
- Trauma experience
- Neurosurgery experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Level 1 trauma experience
Unit Details
- Pediatric OR based in a Level I trauma center
- Specialties in the unit include ENT, Urology, Plastics, General Surgery, Orthopedic, Trauma, and Neurosurgery
- Patient population includes neonates, infants, toddlers, children, adolescents, and some adults
- Procedures may include ECMO, burn procedures, tumor resections, and trauma procedures
- Equipment includes Stealth, DaVinci, and ROSA
