Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Binghamton, New York
• Based in a hospital setting
• 13-week contract
• Day shift: 5x8 hours, 8:00–16:30
• Mon-Fri block schedule
• First-timers accepted
• No locals accepted; must live more than 50 miles away
• Will float within scope to meet facility needs
• No on-call requirement
• RTO of 5 days or less is preferred

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Case Management experience within the last year
• 1 year of Case Management experience
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NURSYS verification required for RN
• New York Harassment Prevention Training Certificate required
• 2 professional references from within the past year
• Employment application required
• Unit-specific skills checklist required within 1 year of start
• Background check required, including:

  • 7-year criminal background check
  • Social Security trace
  • County searches for the last 7 years of locations lived/worked/in school
  • Nationwide search
  • Sex offender search
  • PATCH - PA Statewide for PA placements only
  • Education verification
• EPLS/GSA/SAM required within 1 year of start
• HHS/OIG required within 1 year of start
• Physical exam required within 90 days of start
• Respirator fit test required within 1 year of start
• Negative TB or chest X-ray required
• TB questionnaire required within 30 days of start
• Drug screen required within 90 days of start
• COVID vaccination or medical/religious exemption required
• Flu vaccine or medical/religious exemption required during flu season
• RespSafety clearance required prior to start

• PALS
• NRP
• NIH Stroke Certification
• Mon-Fri block schedule
• RTO of 5 days or less
