Overview

• Travel/Contract Registered Nurse role in Liberal, Kansas
• 13-week assignment
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
• Block scheduling allowed and open to review
• Locals allowed within an 80-mile radius
• First-time travelers accepted

Unit Details

• 10-bed LDRP
• 4-bed GYN/Post-op
• 14 Well-baby beds
• 3 Special Care Nursery beds
• Delivers approximately 900 babies per year
• Staffing includes 2 OB/GYN doctors and 3 Pediatricians

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kansas
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• Float to MS, ICU, and ER occasionally, about 2–3 times in a 13-week contract
• Every other weekend required
